"Let There Be Light"

If you can, I'd like to encourage you to consider going to Idaho Falls on October 17th and 18th. Why? Because there's a Pastor's Conference (open to anyone), Woman's Conference (open to women), and the UISBC Annual Meeting.

We have a small amount of business to do at the Annual Meeting, and then we're using most of the time to worship, pray, and hear the preached Word together. There are four worship, prayer, and preaching sessions around the theme, "Let There Be Light" from 2 Corinthians 4:6. (The sermons will walk through 2 Corinthians 4 and part of 5.) I'll also be leading an Idea's Lunch to talk about how our collective churches might better work together to honor God, training up the next generation, reach Utah and Idaho for Christ, and much more as we move into the future. (And it's a free lunch!)

The Annual Meeting is on Friday, October 18th, and it's totally free to attend.

On the day before, Thursday, October 17th, there's a free Pastor's Conference, although it's open to anyone. Dr. John Avant is the speaker, and the theme is "Revive, Reconcile, Renew." It runs from 1:30 pm to 8:30 pm.

And, as if that weren't enough, there's a woman's conference on Thursday afternoon as well (although ladies can go to the Pastor's Conference if they'd prefer.) Donna Avant and an IMB missionary named Chris are speaking at this conference. The theme is "Hope: Find it, Live it, Share it." It's also free although they request that you register, so they have a good count.

You can find more info at http://www.uisbc.org/annual-convention, and I'd love to chat with you if you're interested in attending.

For the Kingdom!
Pastor Bryan Catherman
