Are Drums and Electric Guitars in Christian Worship Irreverent?

During one of our Redeeming Life: LIVE sessions, we were asked how we could be worshiping in a reverent way if we have drums on the stage. This is not a new question. It comes from a strong connection to the style of worship a person grew up with. The irony is that this for a generation, this debate was applied to the organ because the organ was used in pubs. But God has a lot to say about using instrumentation to worship him.
