Deuteronomy 6:4-9 (among many other passages) instruct us to teach our children to love God. We take that seriously at Redeeming Life and seek to help parents.
Nursery (for infants through three-year-olds who are not potty trained) opens 5-minutes prior to the start of our worship service (10:55am). All the other kids join us as we listen to a children's sermon followed by singing musical worship. Following the worship time, potty-trained toddlers through kids in kindergarten are dismissed to participate in age-appropriate lessons and activities. Activity sheets are available for children who remain in the service.
We love the Jesus Storybook Bible and encourage parents to read it to their children. The NIRV translation of the Bible is a good next step for kids who are ale to read at a 2nd grade or higher level. We also love families and believe the family unit is an important community with the community of God. Our families participate together in worship, Fellowship Groups, corporate prayer, Bible studies, and our outreach ministries.
Kids in 1st grade through high school presently meet with us for worship. Our NextGen kids meet on Tuesday nights from 6:30-8 PM at the church building for Bible study, games, prayer, and fun. We also do fun activities for the NextGen kids throughout the year and the Youth help the adults serve on Sundays.
